The Belfast Aviators Softball Club, which plays in the Ulster Softball League run by Softball Ireland,  Aviators logois looking for new players for the 2013 season and has teamed up with Blast 106FM in Belfast to run a four-week radio campaign starting this month.

The club will begin weekly training sessions on Sunday, March 3 at 2.00 pm at Shorts Recreation Club on the Holywood Road in Belfast.
 

Everyone welcome

The Belfast Aviators were formed in 2008, and its players, representing all skill levels from beginners to seasoned veterans, hail from Northern Ireland and all over the world, including the USA and Canada.

The club won the Ulster League title in 2009 and have finished third in each of the last three seasons.  Last year, the team ventured abroad to play in softball tournaments in Dublin and the Czech Republic and this year the club is planning its first trip to Scotland in June.
 

Enjoying the sport

The Aviators want to create a presence on the national and international softball scene, creating a sustainable outlet for all who want to enjoy and participate in the sport!
