The 25th annual European Coach Clinic for high-level baseball and softball coaches will be held on the weekend of December 10-11, 2011 in Rotterdam in the Netherlands, with 120 places available.
Subjects to be covered at the Clinic include strategy, biomechanics, motor learning and strength and conditioning, and there will also be technical sessions on hitting, catching and pitching.
High-level trainers
Sessions will be conducted by professional coaches and trainers from the USA and Australia, including Roger LaFrancois, Dave Shuler, Vaughn Robinson and Karen Marr. They will be joined by coaches resident in Holland, including Brian Farley and former GB Women's Team Head Coach Craig Montvidas.
Specialist instructors attending will include Arnd Rose (eye tracking systems), Frans Bosch (sprinting) and Martijn Nijhoff (motor learning).
Most topics can be applied to the development of both baseball and softball players.
