    GB Women’s Team v USA to be televised on ESPN America

    When the Great Britain Women’s Fastpitch Team plays the United States in the 6th World Cup of Softball in Oklahoma City on July 24, the game will be available live in Britain on the subscription channel ESPN America, and will be televised again via tape delay on July 25 and 26.

    Netherlands bids to host 2014 Women’s World Championships

    The Dutch Baseball and Softball Federation has submitted a bid to the ISF to host the 2014 Women’s Fastpitch World Championships at the Olympia Softball Club in Haarlem in. If the bid is successful, it will be the first time the World Championships will have been staged in Europe.

    GB Slowpitch players battle for places in Bulgaria

    GB Slowpitch Team coaches and players from the Main and Development Squads converged on the Civil Service Sports Ground in Chiswick on Saturday, May 7 for the GB Challenge Tournament, the last chance for players to press their claim for selection to the team that will play in European Slowpitch Championships in July.

    ISF plans to revive Slowpitch World Cup in 2012

    The International Softball Federation plans to stage a combined Slowpitch World Cup for co-ed teams and Masters (35+) men’s team in Plant City, Florida next January.
