The Czech Republic is hosting the WBSC Men’s Fastpitch World Championship in Prague and Havlickuv Brod from 13-23 June this year – the first time this Championship has ever been played in Europe -- and is looking for volunteers from around the continent to help with the event.

Some of the positions the organisers are looking to fill include VIP Zone Assistant, Fan Zone service, people to work with school kids coming to the tournament in the mornings, Food Zone positions, Parking Zone Assistant and field crew.

Volunteers will receive game tickets, uniform, meals, accommodation and internship credit, depending on position.

Competitors

Sixteen teams will take part in the tournament from all around the world, including the World Champion New Zealand Black Sox and top sides such as Australia, Japan, Canada and Venezuela.

Europe’s representatives will be the Czech Republic, Denmark and the Netherlands – although the GB Men’s Team came very close to winning a place when they finished fourth at last summer’s European Men’s Championship.
