Do you live in or near Birmingham? Have you ever fancied playing a new sport with friends or family?

Then you'll be interested in a six-week programme of Softball 4 Beginners sessions, funded by Sportivate and run by the Birmingham Bobcats Softball Club in partnership with BSUK, aimed at men and women aged 14 and up.

Starting on September 1, the Birmingham Bobcats will be holding Softball 4 Beginners sessions at Hallfield School Playing Fields every Thursday night for six weeks, starting at 6:30 pm. The sessions will be  by BaseballSoftballUK's Regional Coach and Club Development Officer Will Lintern, with support from the Bobcats' coaching staff.

Each session will cost £2.00 or you can pay £10.00 up front for all six sessions.

Great opportunity

Softball 4 Beginners sessions are a great way to play a new sport and meet new people.

The sessions are aimed at both women and men above the age of 14 and all the equipment will be provided.

All you need to bring is suitable athletic attire and either trainers or football boots, plus a fun attitude and keenness to learn -- and you'll feel right at home with the group.
