Bracknell Baseball Club coaches had their school taster sessions so well planned that they were able to arrange for brilliant sunshine when they visited two area primary schools during the first week of April and introduced baseball to hundreds of boys and girls.

Coaches Andy Rose, Rob Rance and Jeremy Neads visited Sandy Lane Primary School in Bracknell on Wednesday, April 6, the hottest day of the year so far, and were able to top up their tans as they worked with 220 boys and girls in Years 3 to 6 in a day dedicated to tee-ball.

After lunch on Wednesday, Bracknell Broncos Head Coach Andy Rose travelled to Whitegrove School to introduce the game to another 60 young players and on Friday Paul Vernon and Jeremy Neads visited Whitegrove once again to introduce another 180 eager youngsters to the game.   Bronco’s Opening Day is on Saturday 9th April.  Registration starts at 9am; please check www.bracknellbaseballclub.co.uk for more details.
