A one-day theory course in fastpitch umpiring and rules will be held on Sunday 8 May at the Heston Venue, formerly the BA Concorde Club, open to anyone interested in umpiring and to players who want to know more about the rules to gain that strategic edge!

The course, which will run from 9.30 am, will be led by BASU Fastpitch Officer and ISF-qualified fastpitch umpire Bridget Cameron.

The course will be free of charge to participants.

The venue address is Crane Lodge Road, Cranford, Middx TW5 9PQ, and directions for getting to the venue can be found here

Anyone attending the course who would like to become a trainee fastpitch umpire will be able to get experience umpiring games at subsequent Great Britain Fastpitch League competition days later on in May and in June at Farnham Park, with on-field feedback and mentoring.

For more information or to book a place on the course, email Bridget Cameron bridgetcam@gmail.com.
