Current European Ranking: 5th (Sport Division)

Last Official Competition:  The Massimo Romeo Youth Trophy (formerly the European Minime Championships), held in Collecchio, Italy near Parma, in August 2018, where the team won more games than ever before and finished fifth in the more competitive Sport Division.

Next Official Competition: The Massimo Romeo Youth Trophy in Collechio, Italy in August 2019.

Tryout Information - 8-12 years of age:  This age group is transitioning to Under-12 and trials will be held in the spring of 2020.  Players do not need any previous fastpitch or even softball experience to attend trials, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.  To attend trials or practices, contact Team Manager Julie Spittle.


Leagues for Under-12 players

London Sports provides playing opportunities for girls and boys from 5-15 years of age in both softball and baseball.  GB coaches will assess players for the 2018 GB Under-13 European travel team.  Games are played at Wormwood Scrubs, Artillery Way, off Du Cane Road, Wormwood Scrubs, London W12 OAE.  For more information, see or follow on twitter: @london_sports.

Winter opportunities

BSUK's Academy Softball allows players to continue to play and train over the winter and into the spring, ensuring they are prepared for the following season.  The Academy is open to all players aged 10 and up, and there are national and regional sessions.  For dates and venues during the 2019-20 off-season, check The Academy section of BSUK's website on and to register for National and/or Regional Academy Softball sessions, please go to the Academy Registration Page.
