About the event:
For 2023, the North West Series will be comprised of two simultaneous one-day Rec and Comp tournaments on each of three weekend days. Trophies for tournament winners will be handed out at the end of each day and overall Series winners will get a special prize at NWS3.
For fairness and safety, Team Captains are asked to remember that the Rec tournament is for players that do not have the level to play regularly in the top divisions of the Manchester Softball League, the BSF's National Softball Leagues or equivalent when forming a team. There may be some teams with players that do not have any previous experience playing softball at all.
If a captain is wondering whether a player is of too high of a standard for the Rec level, then he/she most likely is! Such players are most welcome to come with your team and help with coaching.
The Comp level is open to teams and players at any level.
The fee for each tournament will be £160. Please note that payment has to be made at time of registration to confirm a place in the tournament.
The tournament will use the BSUK LGBTQ+ Inclusive Rules.
