Last call for GB Under-19 Men Head Coach

Sun 15 Apr 2018

The GB Under-19 Men’s Fastpitch Team is putting out a final call for applications for a new Head Coach.  The deadline for applications is Monday 23 April.

The vacancy has arisen following the resignation of Chris Yoxall, who coached the team at the European Junior Men's Championship in 2017, for work-related reasons.

The team does not have an official European or World Championship competition in 2018, but the GB Under-19 Men will be playing as a team in the Great Britain Fastpitch League from late April through early June and hope to travel to invitational competitions in Europe as they prepare for the 2019 European Championship.

All Head Coaches for GB National Teams must be based in the UK and must have at least a BSUK Level 2 coaching qualification, or have plans to acquire this qualification in the year of appointment.

No GB National Team staff members are paid; all positions are voluntary.  However, costs for staff members are covered when a national team goes abroad for competition, and some expenses connected with training and competition in the UK can be claimed if necessary.

Application process

To apply for the position of GB Under-19 Men’s Team Head Coach, interested applicants should fill out a GB Staff Application Form here.

The deadline for applications is 5.00 pm on Monday 23 April 2018.
