BSF looking for volunteer help for World Series

Thu 22 Jun 2017

The BSF is looking for volunteers to help with this year's Softball World Series Tournament, including a minibus driver and people to help set up fields on the Friday afternoon before the event takes place on 9-10 September.

A minibus driver is required to transport overseas teams from their accommodation to the fields and back again during the weekend of the World Series, and a licence that covers driving a 17-seat minibus is required.

On the afternoon of Friday 8 September from 2.00 pm onwards, several volunteers are required to set up fences and other field furniture for the tournament, which will be played at the Heston Venue (formerly the BA Concorde Club) in Cranford, near Heathrow Airport.

Anyone willing to volunteer for either of these tasks should contact BSF General Officer Mike Jennings (j_mike_jennings@hotmail.com).
