The 2016 Co-ed Slowpitch Softball World Series Tournament

The Softball World Series is an 18-team Co-ed Slowpitch tournament that takes place each year near the end of the British season, usually on the second or third weekend in September. In 2016, the tournament will be played on the weekend of September 10-11.

2016 London Cup for Junior and Senior Women’s Fastpitch Teams

BSUK and the British Softball Federation will host an eight-team tournament for junior and senior women's fastpitch teams at Farnham Park, a dedicated softball and baseball complex near London and Heathrow Airport, on the weekend of 2-3 July 2016. Both national and club teams are welcome to enter.

M&Ms take the title at SPAM Tournament

The second annual SPAM Tournament was played on Saturday 26 September on the dirt fields at Farnham Park, and the same two teams – SPAM and the M&Ms – made the final. Once again, it was the M&Ms that took the title.

Bristol BS7 take the title at the autumn Cotswold Tournament

A full complement of 12 teams from Bristol, Coventry, Nottingham, London, Birmingham and Milton Keynes, as well as the local team Cotswold Chaos, competed at the annual Autumn Cotswold Tournament at Archway School in Stroud on Sunday 4 October, on a day when early fog turned to glorious sunshine.

First World Series win for non-UK team

Teams have been coming from outside the UK to play in the annual Softball World Series tournament ever since it first began in 1999, but no non-British team has ever won it. That changed on the weekend of 12-13 September at the Imperial College Heston Venue in Cranford, when the UCE Travellers from Germany took the title.
