The GB Under-18 Men’s Fastpitch Team fought hard but could not overcome a six-run rally by Israel in the second inning of their playoff game Saturday at the European Under-18 Men’s Qualifier in Israel, and the 8-1 loss in five innings put GB out of the tournament.

OctGB U-18 Men’s Team looks towards playoffs
After completing their round-robin games on Friday at the European Under-18 Men’s Fastpitch Qualifier at Kibbutz Gezer, Israel, the GB Under-18s are looking forward to Saturday’s playoffs, where they will still have a chance to qualify for next year’s World Cup.

SepUCE Travellers win 21st World Series
The UCE Travellers from Germany, who in 2015 became the first team from outside the UK to win the BSF’s annual Softball World Series Tournament, did it again on the weekend of 7-8 September, breaking a three-year run of titles won by the USA.

AugNSL3 Nationals promote Camels & Ducks to NSL2
The BSF’s NSL3 Nationals, played at Parrs Wood School in Manchester on 31 August-1 September, was a triumph for the Spittin’ Camels from Manchester, who won the tournament and also gained promotion to NSL2 for 2020, along with London’s Fuzzy Ducks.
