Donation Bin for used equipment now in place at Farnham Park

A marked and easily accessible wooden bin has now been set up near the BSUK office, behind the third base line on Pitch 1 at Farnham Park, where BSF and BBF teams and players can donate used and unwanted softball and baseball equipment that can be put to good use in development projects.

GB and Germany to meet in Euro Slowpitch final

Team GB had a great day today at the European Slowpitch Championship; Germany, all things considered, had a pretty good day as well; and Ireland had a really bad day at the office. The upshot is that GB will play Germany in Saturday's final.

GLSML Development Sessions get under way in Regents Park

The annual development sessions run each year by the Greater London Softball Mixed League (GLSML) for new and inexperienced slowpitch softball players, known as Softball 101, will start on Monday evening 14 May in Regents Park and run every Monday evening thereafter through 13 August.

New softball club starting in Dorset

Free softball coaching sessions will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings in Dorset beginning the week after Easter as part of an attempt to get a new softball club off the ground in the area.

The British Softball Federation has published three new documents on the BSF website to provide guidance for new slowpitch or fastpitch softball teams during the period when they are just starting out, and then when they want to make sure that the team remains viable.
