Belfast Aviators Tournament looking for teams

The Belfast Aviators Softball Club is holding its annual Invitational Competition on Saturday 3 August and will welcome teams from this side of the Irish Sea.

Sun shines on the Diffodil Tourney in Cardiff

Team Phoenix and the Dragon Warriors captured the major prizes at the second annual Diffodil Tournament in Cardiff on the weekend of 1-2 June, but the event was particularly noteworthy for the sunshine!

GLSML Firstball: great tournament, shame about the spelling!

The GLSML Firstball for 2013 took place on Saturday 18 May at a surprisingly sunny Riverside Lands in Chiswick with eight fully-fenced pitches, all but one to a distance of 250 to 270 feet. There were three grades of play and Agents, Fuzzy Ducks and Meteors 2 took the trophies.

Deadline approaching to claim Nationals places

The deadline of 15 June for eligible teams to claim and pay for their place in the BSF's Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze Nationals is fast approaching, and a third of the available places have already been claimed.

ASA slowpitch coaches plan UK tour

Two high-level American slowpitch coaches with national and international experience will tour the UK from 20 June through 3 July to provide coach-training for team representatives from slowpitch leagues around the country. The tour is being supported by the American Amateur Softball Association (ASA) and the British Softball Federation.

Blue Steel leads NSL standings after Diamond 1
