    A unique event in Europe – a Women’s Slowpitch Tournament – will take place from 18-21 July 2019 in Breda in the Netherlands, and British teams have been invited to enter.

    Good causes win at Not Jingle Balls 2 Tournament

    There was no snow this year to interrupt the second running of the Not Jingle Balls Charity tournament on 9 December at the Royal Masonic School in Rickmansworth, and the 10 teams that competed didn’t disappoint as they got into the spirit of the event, dressing in a variety of Christmas-based outfits and generously taking part in the tombola.

    Under the partnership of former GB Slowpitch Head Coach Mark Saunders and Head of PE Lewis Chapman, a softball programme that started at Archway School in Stroud, Gloucestershire 12 years ago has gone from strength to strength, with teams from the school now competing successfully in the Bristol Softball League.

    GB Slowpitch prepares for Florida World Cup

    A 20-strong cohort of GB Slowpitch players descended on a damp and misty Farnham Park for a pre-World Cup training session on the morning of 21 October and was rewarded when the afternoon turned fine and produced a lot of competitive softball.
