The GB Co-ed Slowpitch Team had the expected easy win on Saturday morning against the Turks & Caicos Islands by 23-4 to wrap up round-robin play with a 5-2 record at the ISF Slowpitch World Cup in Plant City, Florida. The playoffs begin this afternoon.

The finest game so far at the ISF Slowpitch World Cup was an eight-inning thriller played in bitter cold on Friday evening between Great Britain and the USA Ink Daddyz, and GB came out on the wrong end of a 9-8 scoreline.

The 3rd ISF Slowpitch World Cup will begin on Thursday 23 January in Plant City, Florida, and the GB Slowpitch Team will spend the early part of the week getting acclimatised and getting ready.

Stan Doney re-appointed as GB Programmes Manager

Over the past year, Stan Doney has been working for both BSUK and the BSF with a number of different responsibilities. From 1 December, however, Stan is no longer working for BSUK but will continue in a part-time consultancy role with the BSF with the title of GB Programmes Manager.
