North and South share prizes at Co-ed Nationals

Twenty teams – eight B-grade and 12 C-grade – took part in the British Softball Federation's 2014 Co-ed National Championships over the weekend of 9-10 August at Farnham Park. The honours were split among London, Windsor, Leeds and the East Midlands.

Pioneers win 2014 NSL Championship

Pioneers have won the 2014 National Softball League Championship, following the last NSL competition results at Diamond 3 on 26-27 July, and will be the top seed at the Premier Nationals, scheduled for 30-31 August at Farnham Park.

Pioneers lead NSL but lose BA Final

With just one event to go in the 2014 National Softball League season, the Pioneers hold a 3.5 game lead at the top of the NSL standings and look set to take the 2014 NSL title.

European Slowpitch League halfway through its first season

A new European Slowpitch Softball League (ESSL), the brainchild of Austrian slowpitch enthusiast Marc Stein, is now halfway through its first season of play. Six teams representing four countries are taking part, and finals will be held on 13-14 September in Linz, Austria.

The second weekend of competition in the 2014 National Softball League took place at the Diamond Series 2 tournament at Farnham Park over the weekend of 7-8 June, and Pioneers, Chromies and Blue Steel (in that order) currently top the NSL table.

GB Teams lead after four weeks of play in the GB Fastpitch League

With four weeks of play in the 2014 Great Britain Fastpitch League, and just one playing date remaining on 28 June, a GB Combined team, made up of male and female senior GB players, leads Division 1 and the GB Under-19 Men lead Division 2.

Extra day scheduled for Great Britain Fastpitch League

Due to rain that wiped out play in the Great Britain Fastpitch League on 24 May, a final playing day for the league has been scheduled for Saturday 28 June at Farnham Park.
