A new independent Single-Sex Slowpitch Tournament for recreational and competitive men's and women's teams will be held at Riverside Lands in Chiswick, London on Sunday 18 May, and entries are now being taken.

Schedule set for Women’s World Championship

The International Softball Federation has announced the round-robin groups and a provisional schedule for this summer's Women's Faspitch World Championships, to be played in Haarlem, in the Netherlands, from 15-24 August. The GB Women's Team will enter the tournament ranked at #11.

BSF subsidy for helmets and masks

Adult slowpitch teams that intend to use under-18 players will need to have batting helmets and catcher's masks – but the BSF will subsidise half the cost for teams that need to buy them.

Greensox rebound to take Manchester Firstball title
